G-parent

Grand parenting: noun,

a parent of a parent.

Grand parenting: verb,

the act of parenting a parent’s child(ren).

Grown parenting: noun,

a parent of a parent.

Grown parenting: verb,

the act of parenting ones adult children.

Parenting grown children and grand children is not a job for the “faint-hearted!”  These relationships require intentionality, perseverance, and Holy Spirit power! Seldom in history has there been a time so full of great challenges for parents and grandparents to overcome.    Living fully into our God-given calling to Pass the Legacy to future generations is a Vision and an activity that, all at once, is a gift and a challenge. Make no mistake, as adults of grown children, we can overcome these obstacles together with the Lord’s help.  Invite Catherine to share through a presentation, retreat, Bible Study or conversational coffee and learn steps you can take today to reach out to your beloved grown children and grandchildren.
